May 5 Rowan Williams “No kill unarmed “

Is this a bad episode of Yes, Prime Minister?

Rowan Williams, the alleged “Archbishop of Canterbury” blocked reforming the Act of Settlement of 1701, which bars Roman Catholics from ascending to the throne of England. Mr Williams is an educated man. I read his fairly good book on Dostoevsky. He knows that Pope Leo XIII infallibly ruled that Anglican orders are invalid and the Church of England is great big masquerade party. We can have an atheist king or one that worships GAIA or steals another man’s wife, but no Roman Catholic on the throne of England.

Williams is correct on the Christian principle not to gloat over the death of a man, nor to kill the unarmed.
