July 12 Saint John Gualbert

Saint John Gualbert was a native of Florence/Florenza Italy and was a fierce opponent of the vice of simony; the buying and selling of church offices in the manner of the anti-Christ Simon Magnus mentioned in St. Luke’s Book of Acts. The Bishop of Florence had paid a bribe for his office and lack moral character in the days of St. John Gualbert.St.John Gualbert is the name of the Co-Cathedral in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, location of the famed flood of 1889. May all accept the Catholic faith as it was understood for its first 1958 years, without masonic, infiltrating changes. May the souls that were victims of the Johnstown flood of 1889 rest in peace. May the people of Florence hold to the entire Catholic faith without blemish.
