Saint James the Greater Saint of July 25

Saint James the Greater inspired the Reconquista of the fervent Spanish Roman Catholics in 1492 Anno Domini against the North African Moorish foreign occupation. May he pray for all who bear his namesake. By Catholic tradition, he was the first of 11 Apostles to be martyred for bearing witness to the truth of the Logos rising from the grave, defeating death.
